Okay, here are my Post-Haircut pictures. I loved my stylist, and will definitely be going back to her. Went to The Hairem. It was an awesome experience! I told her that I would never be able to make the haircut look as good as it did when she finished, but it's actually not all that hard, it just takes a while. And some mousse, styling wax and hairspray... and a hair straightener. And a half-round brush. I don't have the brush, and I need to get a straightener that doesn't pull my hair out when I use it (mine was very cheaply made). I love the haircut, though, and will most likely keep it up even after the blonde fades.
I think it is a fabulous hairdo!
ReplyDeleteFUN! It makes SUCH a difference to have a hairstylist that you're confident with.
ReplyDeleteThough we all know "it'll grow back", there's nothing that can deflate our emotions like a bad haircut! I'm glad you got a great one!
Nice hair 'do! I got a hair straightener at wally world that you can use on wet hair...the plates are coated so you can slide the hair through...My hair is a bit beyond shoulder length and naturally wavy/curly and I have no problems using this straightener. It comes in sizes too. My sister-in-law has the smaller size for thinner/shorter hair and I got the larger one... Is your hair naturally straight? oh and have you thought about one of those curling irons with the brush piece? that may do a nice job.
ReplyDeletePS: how are you liking the switch to non-toxic home & hygiene products?
Sylvia, I love the products that we've used so far! I got some makeup, and am loving that. We also got just random household things (toothbrushes, dish detergent, cleaning supplies, vitamins, etc.). We like it all so far! Now to place my order for this month... fun stuff!
